Such helped, a lot, by providing much-needed context. Although a work of fiction, I liked how "Beyond Valkyrie: Dawn of the Fourth Reich" portrayed the Catholic Church as the SHAMEFUL organization it really was, during and after WWII. Probably in return, for much Nazi loot, the Church betrayed a lot of actual victims by helping approximately 9, 000 Nazis flee safely, to South America.
