Vamos, que lo que podía haber sido un Silent Hill en toda regla se queda en algo más cercano a otra ñoñería de Guillermo del Toro más. Si a ello le añadimos un Dan Stevens sobreactuado hasta lo absurdo y algunos secundarios solventes pero desaprovechados, al final tenemos un thriller (ya que a esto no se le puede llamar terror) con una excelente factura visual y una gran banda sonora, pero con un desarrollo argumental desastroso y deslavazado, con una falta de ritmo imperdonable y un tono absurdamente suave, convencional y descafeinado.
